Adam (in her words)
Hilarious, cute, rule-follower, outgoing, and simply perfect. Not a day has gone by where I don't laugh uncontrollably since meeting this man. He is always looking for ways to better himself, and it is that motivation that I fell in love with and is inspiring to be around. He is also a mediocre Browns Fan.
Adam grew up in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. Adam attended Miami University, where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance and a Master's degree in Accounting. Adam is a senior associate for JLL.
Ashton (in his words)
Huge Browns Fan... but also, the sweetest, most caring, loving, and beautiful woman I've ever met. It's impossible to have a bad day after you see her smile. She's my perfect match and I can't imagine my life without her.
Ashton grew up in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. She attended Miami University but, sadly, never crossed paths with Adam, though she was constantly looking for him. Ashton volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters and works for a marketing agency in downtown Chicago.
Our Story
Ashton and Adam met on October 8, 2011, only a few days after Ashton moved to Chicago. She and some friends decided to check out State Bar in Chicago’s Lincoln Park area as their “first night out.” Minutes after entering the bar Ashton and Adam struck up a conversation and talked the whole night. The next day Adam reached out and asked Ashton on their first “official date,” where he took her to Cafe Ba Ba Reeba, a tapas restaurant. Adam recalls Ashton being so nervous and continuously twirling her hair. After only a few months they made their relationship official and the rest is history… and Ashton has never twirled her hair since.
Today, Ashton and Adam live in Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood with their miniature goldendoodle, Charley.
