Hayley Cook - Maid of Honor

Hayley and I first met at Miami University where we were next-door neighbors in the dorm freshman year. Hayley lives in NYC where she is a senior associate for ICR.

Hayley has been there for me through so much and has continually supported me and been a person I can always count on. We have shared many laughs and many tears. I love that Hayley and I can share a look and instantly know what the other is thinking. There isn't anyone that I would rather have standing by my side as I marry my other best friend. I am sincerely honored to have her as my maid of honor.

Josephine Stokkebye Boll - Bridesmaid

Josie and I spent 6 months as "sisters" when Josie studied abroad in Michigan in 2005. We have continually kept in contact and have both made the cross-continent journey to visit one another. Josie lives in Copenhagen, where she is pursuing her master's degree in international marketing at the Copenhagen Business School.

Josie is one of the strongest women you will ever meet. She  helped shape me into the woman I have become by always having my back. I am so fortunate to have met Josie and even more fortunate that she will travel over 4,000 miles to stand up with me as Adam and I marry.

Elizabeth Wood - Bridesmaid

Elizabeth and I met my freshman year at Miami while she and my brother Kyle were "just friends." (Hint: Lizzy is my sister-in-law.) Elizabeth lives in Cincinnati where she is a copy director for Advent Media Group.

What I love most about Elizabeth is the happiness she brings my big brother. Their love for one another is inspirational and it is an honor to have them both standing up at our wedding. I admire the unique kindness that Elizabeth has; she is one of the most genuine and thoughtful women I know.

Lauren Marion - Bridesmaid

Lauren and I met in 2012 when we lived together in Wrigleyville. Lauren is a nurse at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago and is also pursuing a family nurse practitioner degree.

I absolutely love Lauren's caring nature, which is no doubt the reason she excels as a nurse. Lauren and I have spent countless hours together watching Bravo, shopping at Target, and laughing uncontrollably. Lauren is one of the most beautiful women you will ever meet, but she is even more beautiful on the inside. Lauren has a joy and silliness about her that is entirely contagious.

Katherine Marley - Bridesmaid

Katherine and I lived together in 2012 (with Lauren). Katherine also grew up in a Detroit suburb. Katherine works as a marketing and sales senior associate at PWC in Chicago. She is also the proud owner of Ivy, a boxer, who just so happens to be Charley's on and off again girlfriend.

Katherine is probably the nicest person you will ever meet. She truly cares about what is going on in the lives of others. Katherine is one of the easiest people to have a friendship with - I absolutely love her down-to-earth personality. She is always down to grab a glass of wine, listen to country music, and lend a listening ear.

We are so fortunate to have these amazing people standing by our side as we wed. Along with our family, these ten individuals have inspired us to be the best version of ourselves and helped shape us into the individuals and couple we are today. Our relationship is stronger because of the love, support, honesty, and friendship we have received from these men and women.

Our Wedding Party

Ross Allen - Groomsman

Ross, or Gary as he is sometimes called, and I have been friends since our college days.  He currently lives in Chicago's West Loop  and is a project manager at Arco Murray Construction Company.

Over the years, Ross and I have enjoyed some fine dining resulting from Browns-Colts bets, road trips, impromptu acting, and back-to-back height contests.  What stands out to me most about Ross is his great sense of humor and his unwavering desire to make sure everyone around him is happy. Ross is also one of the most punctual men you will ever meet which is a truly great attribute for a groomsman.

Kyle Wood - Groomsman

Kyle, Ashton’s older brother, was the first family member of Ashton’s I met. Kyle lives in Cincinnati with his wife Elizabeth and works as a senior business intelligence manager for Fifth Third Bank.

Kyle came to visit Ashton in Chicago early on in our relationship, and I was nervous to make a good impression. I didn’t know at the time, but Kyle is one of the friendliest and most considerate people I’ll ever know, and within minutes of meeting him I forgot all about my anxiety as he made me feel like part of the family. I am grateful to have such a caring and genuine person as my brother-in-law.

Will Lang - Groomsman

Will and I met in preschool and have remained best friends ever since.  Will currently lives in Ohio City and is completing his residency at the Cleveland Clinic.

I cannot think about any part of my childhood without thinking about Ole Willy. We bonded through school, sports, sleepovers (seemingly every weekend), and The Simpsons.  He is one of the most generous and caring people I have ever met, someone who never hesitates to put others’ interests in front of his own.   Throughout my life he has always been just a phone call away and I will treasure our friendship forever.

Brad Roberts - Best Man

Brad, the younger of my two older brothers, has set the bar very high, like David. Brad is a vice president at The Riverside Company and currently lives in Rocky River, Ohio with his wife, Shelby, and two children, John and Sam.

Anyone who knows Brad knows that he is an extremely hard worker and will enjoy success throughout his life. But his unwavering love for and devotion to his family are what make Brad special. I have witnessed this firsthand, as I have pushed Brad to the limit at times (younger brothers will do that), but he has still always been there for me.

David Roberts - Best Man

David is my oldest brother and the biggest Cleveland fan I know.  Currently working as a senior counsel for Goodyear, David has stayed true to his Cleveland roots by settling down in Hudson, Ohio with his wife, Katy, and two children, Claire and Bennett. David and I shared many interests growing up together, including wrestling, video games, and, generally unfortunately, the Cleveland Browns.

David always brings new perspective to a conversation and is honest, fun-loving, and hardworking. He has been an excellent role model for me. I am extremely blessed to have David as an older brother and thankful for the positive impact he has had on my life.

Bennett is the gorgeous son of David and Katy Roberts. This is not Bennett's first rodeo as a ring bearer, so we know he is up to the task. Bennett is an exceptional jumper, as seen in his basement's jumphouse, a great pal to his dog, Chief, and the biggest Spiderman fan you'll ever meet. Bennett also bears a striking resemblance to his Uncle Adam at his age.

John Roberts - Ring Bearer

John is the handsome son of Brad and Shelby Roberts. Although John first told Ashton "no" when asked if he would be a ring bearer, he has since changed his mind, for which we are very happy. John loves super heroes (good and evil), his younger brother Sam, and Toy Story. During the reception, you can find John on the dance floor "raising the roof."

Claire is the beautiful and sweet daughter of David and Katy Roberts. She is an excellent horseback rider, a spectacular cheerleader, a huge Frozen fan, and a superb speller. She is also an amazing big sister to her younger brother, Bennett, and Bryce, who was welcomed to the world in March, 2015.
